PixelForge Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026 • Last Updated: October 2026

1. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture

PixelForge is built on a strict privacy-first foundation. Unlike conventional cloud-based converters and image services:

  • Zero Uploads: When you select or drag images into PixelForge, your files are read into local browser RAM via the HTML5 File API and decoded using client-side Canvas 2D contexts.
  • No Server Transmission: The raw binary contents, metadata, and visual data of your images are never transmitted over the internet to PixelForge servers or external third-party hosts.
  • Immediate Disposal: Once you close or reload the browser tab, all in-memory buffers and Object URLs are immediately released by your browser's garbage collector.

2. Local Browser Storage & Preferences

We use browser localStorage solely to remember your non-identifiable UI preferences (such as your chosen Light/Dark theme). We do not store image contents, file histories, or personal identities in local storage. You can clear local storage at any time via your browser settings.

3. Analytics & Monetization Architecture

In our initial release, third-party advertising scripts are disabled by default. If advertising is enabled in the future, it will be strictly integrated in accordance with Google AdSense standards and applicable privacy consent regulations. No image contents or file metadata will ever be shared with advertising networks.

4. International Privacy Regulations Compliance

Because our users visit from jurisdictions including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union (Germany), Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam, we comply with global privacy principles:

  • GDPR (EU & UK): Under the General Data Protection Regulation, since PixelForge does not collect, store, or process personal image data on external servers, the risk of data exposure is fundamentally minimized by design.
  • CCPA / CPRA (California, US): We do not sell or share personal information or consumer image assets.
  • LGPD (Brazil): All data processing activities respect the security and privacy principles established by Brazilian law.

5. Contact Regarding Privacy
